Will I always keep having espsoides of high anxeity? Why does it make me feel like it's never going away and I'm having a breakdown?

Just keep getting anxeity about anything and everything I feel like I have no control and now I'm always having high anxeity my phones rings or if I get a text I'm freaking out before I even look at it. Not sure why I'm edge. So will I always have high anxeity? Is it true that nothing really helps if you've tried everything?

In my experience Anxiety never goes away. It is a mix of our chemistry and behaviors and personality. However you do learn how to minimize attacks close to zero; and when they do happen then you know how to identify them and control them. I don't know if you can get rid of anxiety completely, at least I am not at that point. Right now I can spend months without having an attack and all of a sudden get one. But the frequency has lowered by a lot. I used to have 3 to 4 a day. I was on constant fight or flight mode. Now, whenever I get an attack I can barely remember the last time I got one. I hope this helps.

Hey Tuff33 I can fully relate to what you are going through having suffered severe anxiety in my teen years. You can absolutely be anxiety free and live a life free from the effects of it. When you are in the midst of anxiety it can seem that there is just so much information out there and no way of knowing whether this thing works or doesn't work. Information overload. Not too mention that most people out there just don't really get what anxiety is. I would suggest developing a good daily habit of waking up in the morning and getting your mind focused on what it is you want to achieve. Remember the saying 'When the mind rules chaos ensues'. If you let your mind rule your day it'll screw it up totally lol. Trust me on that one lol.... An example might be: Waking Up: Listen to a recorded track where you get yourself to simply visualise, sense and feel having achieved your goal. What would it look like? How would it feel? What are those positive thoughts? etc. Then I would listen to 3-4 affirmations you have recorded and listen to those as a way to help you re-focus. Finally when you wake up give yourself lots of self-approval and totally accept yourself. That routine is my current one and so far has been working wonders. If you do nothing but love and accept yourself in the morning you are on the right road and amazing stuff will happen. To get anxiety free requires total conviction and daily dedication. You can't falter for a moment. But if you are up for the challenge you'll change your life and discover new strengths and beliefs you never knew you had. You are so much more than what you think you are or what you think you can achieve. The world is waiting for you to make a difference.
