im new here, wondering if anyone here has a social anxiety group u go to and does it help, dont have any where i live

unfortunately i could not find any groups focused solely on anxiety. i did see a few cities that had a few groups for anxiety though. i attend a Socrates meeting each month. which is a group of people that talk about a different topic each time we meet. last time we met, it was about Tolerance. maybe this doesn't address anxiety, however it helps me because it's a nice setting to simply speak your thoughts in a respectful setting with other strangers. doing so has helped me remember that other people are just like me. and it's nice to put the phone down and interact with new people each month talking about things that matter to all of us. hopefully this helped a little bit.
