When Im depreed from anxiety all i do is lay in my room in the dark, all I do is just think about suicide. this only lasts for about an hour and then i'm fine, i hate this feeling and i don't want to have it anymore. most people tell me to do something i love been I can't, all i can do is lay there, and at this point i am stumped, and clueless what do i do?!?!?!!

I once overheard this train conductor speaking about a girl that jumped in front of his train, and he felt bad because he could not stop in time. The words he said were..."I don't get people that commit suicide, don't they understand that if you are that down in the deep, the next day can't be any worse...it has to be better". I think about those words more than any words. When you are feeling that low, allow yourself to release the depression as if it were a balloon. Imagine letting the balloon go....until it shrinks. And while you are thinking this tell yourself that you want to feel better, you want to feel better, you want to get well again. What we think affects how we feel.

I think about what I have. The good things in life. The smiles and laughter of the children around me who show me their love. That always makes me feel that someone cares if I live or die. I recently video chatted with my niece and she cried when my sister had to turn it off. She is only 2 years old. That helps me. I also try to be open about how I am feeling but only really on here cause I don't want people I know to know about this. It helps as well.
