any tips on how to cope with panic attacks?

One of the methods that works for me is deep breathing. You could also try doing something you like, which will keep you distracted a bit. Just keep telling yourself that it will pass, and that you'll be fine. It really is, for the most part, all in our heads and we have the ability to control it as long as we make a conscious effort to do so. I hope my answer was helpful, have a great day.

wear a rubber band on your wrist and when you feel like you're about to start panicing pull it as far as you can and snap yourself with it. i thought it was stupid when i first was told to do it but it switches your focus from fear to the pain in your wrist which in my opinion is a much better alternative
