I'm New, Agoraphobic

New to this page, not really sure how it works quite yet. But my question is... Is there anyone on here with agoraphobia that has been forced to move? I haven't been able to make it passed my mail box without sedatives since we moved into this house five years ago, and the thought of having 30 days to move terrifies me. I am just hoping the move will help me get passed this even if it is forced...I have had anxiety my entire life but the agoraphobia didn't occur until we moved into this house. Wondering if it might help to start over new and force my way out. But the agoraphobic in me is convincing my brain that I just might die without my "safe place". Any advice is welcome.

Oh my gosh it's like I'm listening to me xD I'm 21, and I wouldn't even go to my mailbox I wouldn't answer my door I couldn't even get in an ambulance (health issues) anyway I got a BF that moved hours away for uni I saw it as a chance to be happy so I said FU to my anxiety AND ME THAT WOULDNT GO PAST THE FRONT DOOR MOVED ACROSS THE DAMN COUNTRY, turns out he was an abusive jerk but point is, if you want something enough anxiety literally doesn't factor in. And you find new safe places don't you worry, I found after moving my safe places had expanded and even though it ended awfully (relationship) it was a damn beautiful experience for me that I did it. I actually went outside and that was the kick up the backside I needed I force myself outside now until I have panic attacks then I sit through them, it's a mental battle, you can do it:D :D also I take that many sedatives I was never allowed to be on my own I was always that"out of it" I did that ON NO PILLS AT ALL so I believe in you :D

Sounds terrifying! Do you have a new place to go? Maybe this will be a new start for you - that would be awesome! P.S. I love your screen name!

Do you live with anyone now that can help you through this or so you have friends or family? Maybe a doctor could temporarily increase Meds the week of the move.
