Are some anxieties/depressions normal to go through?

Death. The Afterlife. Infinity. These are things I have thought about as a kid, but I can easily drop. Then, HS came around, and they got into my head. FOR MONTHS. But my question is, is this normal for a human being? Is the "getting depressed about death" thing normal? Does everybody go through these phases? If so, how long do they take?

In my opinion. Yes I believe everybody goes through some type of sadness but it just all depends on that person everybody handles it different. Some believe the love one dies is in a better place so they are okay with it, some take it hard and need time to grieve, Then you have some people who have a really really hard time with it and get some antidepressant. I actually had a friend in high school who actually laughs when something bad happens but it was her way of dealing with the sadness. I hope I helped.
